Conexión de la sonda de temperatura. El equipo se suministra con una sonda de tem-
peratura (1.19), conecte dicha sonda en la clavija correspondiente (2.4) de la parte trasera
del equipo.
Encienda el equipo presionando el botón ON/OFF (1.4). Al cabo de unos segundos el
equipo estará listo para operar.
Selección del modo de trabajo
El conductímetro Nahita 910/8 le permite realizar determinaciones de:

c. Salinidad (ppt)

3. Temperature coefficient adjustment
Conductivity determination depends on temperature. The temperature variations can
be compensated by introducing a compensation factor (temperature coefficient) that will
be taken into account by the equipment to calculate the conductivity at the reference tem-
perature.
By default, the equipment takes a value of 0.020 (2 %/ºC) for the temperature coefficient;
if this needs to be modified, proceed as follows:
In the conductivity or TDS measuring mode, press COEF (1.9). The equipment will
enter into the temperature coefficient adjustment mode.

yed in the measuring mode.
Note: In the salinity measuring mode, the temperature coefficient can not be modified,
so the COEF button is not operative. The temperature coefficient for salinity determina-
tions is already fixed in the equipment.
