III. USE
This knee joint has been designed to make possible sports activities for patients up to 125 kg (carried load included) with
L4 activity level. Its design combining an air/oil shock absorber and a rigid structure enables the patient to practice sports
activities both in summer (road biking, skateboard, surf) and in winter (snowboard).
- As the shock absorber has been lubricated during preparation, it may show slight traces of oil. This is normal
and they should be wiped with a soft cloth.
- As the knee includes several moving items, please keep your hands away while functioning to avoid any risk of
getting stuck.
-Wearing flotation equipment is highly recommended during any water activity. We also advise you to wear a
light foot (in composite or EVA).
-We remind you that there is a risk of falling when cycling.
IV. ASSEMBLING AND BUILD HEIGHTS
The upper and lower linking parts
of this knee are two
pyramids. They receive a female
pyramid of 1K185 or 1D40 type.
The male pyramids provided can
be replaced by female pyramids
(1K185 and 1K66) that will be
ordered separately.
