Install curved handle
1. 1. Fasten the bow-type handle (1) with
the enclosed screws and upper wing
nuts (2) to the right and left of the lo-
wer bar (4).
2. Clipping in the cable holders:
Clip the cable holders (15) on the bow-
type handle (1) and lower bar (4) and
use them to fix the appliance's cable in
place (
16).
Upon releasing the upper wing nuts
(2), you can fold the bow-type hand-
le downwards to store the device.
Installing the grass box
The collection box is already completely
preassembled.
1. Loosen the Phillips screw (19a) on the
carrying handle (19).
2. Place the carrying handle (19) on
the upper side of the grass collection
box (13) and screw it tight with a Phil-
lips screw (19a) from below.
3. Place the plastic tabs (13a) over the
grass collection box rods (13b).
Attention: Do not operate the ap-
pliance until the collision guard
and grass box are fully installed.

Insert/remove battery
Switch off the device, remove the
safety key (20) and wait for the
blade to come to a stop. There is a
risk of personal injury.
1. To insert the battery (7) into the de-
vice, push the battery along the guide

rail into the device. It locks into place
audibly.
2. To remove the battery (7) from the de-
vice, press the release button (
on the battery and pull the battery out.
Initial Operation
Before operating the machine,you must
- install the upper and lower upper han-
dles:
- install the collection bag

During the assembly or disas-
sembly of the collection basket,
the device must be turned off
and all moving parts must have
come to a standstill. Remove the
battery from the device before
carrying out any work.
