Mixer
4. Install Mixer
- Attach the mixer to the wall plate with the screws and washers
provided.
- Tighten the screws securely.
5. Test Valve
- Install 1/2" hot and cold supply piping to mixer.
- Temporarily pull plaster guards from handle and spout shanks. Do
not discard plaster guards at this time.
- Loosen handle assembly setscrew. Temporarily attach handle
assembly to mixer. Tighten setscrew.
- Position a bucket in front of spout shank, and turn on water supplies
to mixer.
- Slowly open mixer handle, and allow hot and cold water to flow
from spout shank for about a minute. Close mixer handle, and
carefully inspect connections for leakage. Repair as needed.
- Turn off water supplies. Open handle to relieve water pressure.
- Loosen setscrew, and remove handle assembly from mixer.
- Protect handle finish by returning handle assembly to carton.
- Reattach plaster guards to handle and spout shanks.
