3. DETERMINE LASER ORIENTATION
The horizontal bubble vial and the vertical bubble vial are located on the top of
the tool.
a. To project a horizontal laser line:
turn the laser line level slowly
until the bubble of the horizontal
vial (X) is between the two
reference lines (Fig. 3)
b. To project a vertical laser line: turn
the laser line level until the bubble
of the vertical vial (Y) between the
two reference lines (Fig. 3)
c. To project a laser line at an angle:
turn the laser line level body until
the indicator pointer is at the desired angle, as shown on the 360° rotating
protractor scale
NOTE:
(1) The laser line level can be mounted directly on a metal surface without the
adjustable wall-mount base by making use of the magnet on the bottom of
the laser line level.
(2) In addition, the level can be mounted to smooth surfaces --- BE SURE to test
glue tape on an inconspicuous area on the smooth surface to ensure that the
smooth surface will not be damaged.
