RS-485
The RS-485 connection is for use by the wattmeter. This is necessary for constant control of the installation´s
power flow (the cable for this connection is not supplied with the INGECON EMS Manager). Connect the
INGECON EMS Manager and the wattmeter as indicated in the following figures.

The INGECON EMS Manager incorporates a jumper that enables the connection of the end of line resistor in the
RS-485 bus. This must be closed.
See "Appendix 1: Wattmeter" of this manual for wattmeter connection and configuration in the
installation.
Consult the accessories manual for communication via RS-485 for more information on the RS-485
wiring.
