Use

• Place the appliance on a on a solid, horizontal, heat and water resistant surface.
• If the heating elements are is poorly positioned, the safety system prevents the appliance from starting.
FLAVOURING FUNCTION
• The effectiveness of the flavourer is limited (~ 30 min); do not preheat your barbecue for more than 10 minutes
before you start cooking.
• After cooking, the flavourer (containing the wood chips) remains hot for a long time, even after the barbecue
has been unplugged. Make sure that the flavourer is cold before handling it and that the chips are too before
throwing them away.

After use

• After use, set the thermostat to the Min position, unplug the mains power cord and allow it to cool down for 2 hours.
• The heating elements are not to be cleaned. If it is really dirty, wait until it has cooled down and wipe with a
dry cloth.
• The grill, the plate and the water tray (depending on the model) must be cleaned after every use. They are
dishwasher-safe
