Your unit can operate using the supplied AC/DC Adapter or via 8 "C" type batteries (not
included). If using batteries, be sure to insert each battery with the correct polarity as
indicated by the "+" and "–" symbols. Incorrect use of batteries can cause electrolyte
leakage and will corrode the compartment or cause the batteries to burst. Therefore:
• Do not mix battery types: e.g. alkaline with carbon zinc. Only use batteries of the same
type for the set.
• When inserting new batteries, do not try to mix old batteries with new ones.
• Remove the batteries if the set is not to be used for a long time.

General operation

1. To power on unit, press and hold FUNCTION STANDBY for three seconds.
2. To select your sound source press the FUNCTION STANDBY button momentarily to cycle
through the following options: CD/BLUETOOTH/FM/AM
3. Adjust the sound level with the VOL - and VOL + buttons. Current volume level is
indicated by the display during volume change. It ranges from UOO to U2O.
4. To switch off the set, press and hold FUNCTION STANDBY for two seconds.
Note: It is recommended that you turn the unit off when not in use to avoid
unnecessary energy consumption.

RADIO OPERATION

1. Use the FUNCTION STANDBY button to choose either AM or FM.

 FM: Pull out the soft antenna. (This is the wrapped wire coming out of the back of the
unit.) Let the antenna hang loose in an open area.
 AM: Reposition the unit. (The AM antenna is an internal, fixed, device.)
Radio Preset
The radio can be programmed with "presets" so that you can easily jump from one favorite
radio station to another. For FM, up to 20 stations can be programmed; for AM, up to 10.

3. Press the PROG button again. The current radio frequency is now stored into memory,
and the program number changes to "PO2", waiting for your next selection.
4. Repeat steps 1 to 3 to program additional tracks.
5. After programming is finished, press the M+ or M- buttons to navigate between preset
stations.
