; Do not drill into fuel or electrical lines, take appropriate precaution.
Remove rivet - Remove rearmost rivet on bottom of frame rail, each side. (Drill out rivet for easier removal). Hole in frame rail may need to be enlarged, see step 5.

Raise hitch to be used as template - Raise hitch into position, lining up rear hole on hitch with hole from rivet removed in step 1.

Clamp – Securely clamp hitch to end of frame rail.

Mark holes - Using hitch as a template, mark the center of each attachment hole.

Lower hitch - Remove the hitch and drill 11/16" holes (3) in each frame. Hint; a small pilot hole is recommended. Remove burrs.

take appropriate precaution.
Install hitch - Raise hitch into position and install provided fasteners as shown. See Figure 1.

7. Tighten all M16 CL10.9 fasteners with torque wrench to 210Lb.-Ft. (285 N*M)
Note: check hitch frequently, making sure all fasteners and ball are properly tightened. If hitch is removed, plug all holes in trunk pan or other body panels to prevent entry of water and exhaust fumes. A hitch or
ball which has been damaged should be removed and replaced. Observe safety precautions when working beneath a vehicle and wear eye protection. Do not cut access or attachment holes with a torch.
This product complies with safety specifications and requirements for connecting devices and towing systems of the state of New York, V.E.S.C. Regulation V-5 and SAE J684.
