III. BEFORE USE
a. Baby Unit
Plug the Baby Unit into the mains and place the Baby Unit at a minimum distance of 1 metre from
baby's head and within 2.5 metres of baby for a good quality image. Ensure that the appliance is
positioned opposite baby, for a complete view of baby without any blind spots or invisible zones.
The camera performs a calibration once it is plugged in or switched on by automatically rotating, it
detects the points of interest and movements for a duration of 30 seconds to 1 minute. The Baby Unit
must remain plugged into the mains to operate since the battery is not yet recharged.

c. Connection between the two units and distance of use
When the Parental Unit and the Baby Unit are switched on, the connection is automatic and both
units are immediately paired.
The connection light of the Parental Unit is symbolised by the «network signal» icon situated at the
top left of the screen
When the Parental Unit and the Baby Unit are connected, the power indicator shows the maximum
number of signal bar strength, namely 4. The connection is therefore established. Otherwise, the
signal bar strength does not indicate network bar strength and the message «No Link» is displayed.
IV. INSTALLATION AND CONFIGURATION OF THE BABY VIDEO MONITOR

Use of the Parental Unit and the Baby Unit

When the Parental Unit is switched on for the first time, it
must be plugged into the mains for 8 hours to recharge the
supplied AC adapter (5V DC /1.5 A).
If the Parental Unit is already recharged, you can switch it on
and use it directly without plugging it in thanks to the Lithium
battery which provides an autonomy of 4 hours.

1. Once you have plugged in the cable, press the button
situated on the top of the appliance for 3 seconds to
switch it on.
2. To switch on the Parental Unit, press the button
3 seconds. And you should be able to hear noises coming
from the Baby Unit.
