Alarm Sub-Routine
NOTE
If you have entered Alarm Sub-Routine, you must press CANCEL
to exit to Diagnostic Mode before you can enter Test Sub-Routine.
Enter Alarm Sub-Routine from Diagnostic Mode by pressing
START button.

Possible User Executions While in Alarm Sub-Routine
Rotate cycle selector through 5 most recent alarms.
See "Reading Error Codes" and "Error Code Chart".
Press and hold CANCEL to exit Alarm Sub-Routine
and return to normal operation. Chime will sound one
long beep followed by one short beep as you return to
normal machine functionality.
Press and hold START button to erase all stored alarm
codes. Chime will sound as codes are cleared.
Press CANCEL to exit Alarm Sub-Routine and return
to Diagnostic Mode. Chime will sound one long beep
as you exit Alarm Sub-Routine.

Test Sub-Routine
NOTE
If you have entered Test Sub-Routine, you must press CANCEL to
exit to Diagnostic Mode before you can enter Alarm Sub-Routine.
Enter Test Sub-Routine from Diagnostic Mode by pressing START
button.

Possible User Executions While in Test Sub-Routine
Rotate cycle selector to additional Test Sub-Routine
positions. See description of tests below.
Press CANCEL to exit Test Sub-Routine and return to
Diagnostic Mode. Chime will sound one long beep as
you exit Test Sub-Routine.
Press and hold CANCEL to exit Test Sub-Routine and
return to normal operation. Chime will sound one long
beep followed by one short beep as you return to
normal machine functionality.
Lid switch test - a repeating beep will sound as long as the lid is in
the open position.
Lid lock test - the lid will lock in the lowered position.
Hot valve test - test can be preformed with lid in the open position.
The hot water solenoid will activate and hot water should enter the tub.
Proceed to cold valve test before hot water reaches the level between
the 6th and 7th row of wash tub holes.
Cold valve test and pressure switch test - test can be performed with
lid in the open position. The cold water solenoid will activate and cold water
should enter the tub. A proper-functioning pressure switch will shut water
level off between 6th and 7th row of wash tub holes from the bottom.
Agitating test - test can be performed with lid in the open position.
Depending on water level, clutch will make more or less noise while
reversing. DO NOT REACH INTO TUB WHILE AGITATING.
Drain pump test - test can be performed with lid in the open position.
Drain pump will continue to run while in "drain pump test" position.
Spinning test - test can be performed with lid in the open position.
Any water left in the tub will be drained before spinning. DO NOT
REACH INTO TUB WHILE SPINNING.
Out-of-Balance switch test - test can be performed with lid in the
open position. Grasp top of agitator and press washgroup toward right-
rear corner of cabinet to contact the "out-of-balance" switch. If switch is
functioning properly it will continue to repeatedly beep while contacted.
