This fault occurs when the water entry fl ow rate during any fi ll stage has been found to be too low.
The alarm indicates that water fi ll timeout has been exceeded. This means that the water level has
not reached a specifi c level within a specifi c time. Usually within 10 minutes if there is already some
water in the bowl or 25 minutes if empty. This alarm occurs during water fi ll phase only.
When this fault occurs, the machine will switch to paused state (all water valves will be turned off as
a safety measure).
This fault occurs when the water level gets below the required water level. The machine will keep
comparing the current water level against the required water level twice every second. If the results
are outside the range after 30 consecutive seconds an alarm will sound and the machine will switch
to paused state. It might be that water is fl owing out due to a leak at the bottom of the tub.
The machine can detect an out-of-balance occurrence when doing any of the spin operations. To
overcome this out-of-balance problem, the clothes will need to be redistributed (the machine will
automatically continue operation after the lid has been opened and closed, there is no need to press
START/pause).
This fault can occur during a drain process if the water level is greater than 80 mm. If the level drops
less than 10 mm in 30 seconds and the water level is above 80 mm, the alarm will sound and the
machine will switch to paused state.
At power up, the pressure sensor output frequency is checked. If the frequency is outside 36 KHz -
46 KHz then the pressure sensor is suspected to be defective and this alarm will be set.
If pressure sensor is not defective, the machine will check the water level. If it is greater than
overfl ow level, this alarm will be set and drain pump will turn on to drain out water until the water
level is dropped to the highest selectable level and then resume the wash.
Before the machine begins to execute the spinning phase it will try to lock the lid. If the lid does not
lock within 20 seconds then the alarm will be set.
At the end of spin cycle the machine will try to unlock the lid. If the lid does not unlock within 20
seconds then the alarm will be set.
This alarm occurs when the machine has detected abnormal function of main board such as: zero
crossing failure, DC bus voltage failure, temperature of IGBT failure, motor fault, clutch cam fault, or
clutch jiggle fault. If one of these failures has been detected for one continuous minute, the alarm
will be set. Refer to Error Code Chart for detail of each possible fault.
This alarm occurs when there is a communication problem between User Interface and Motor Control
Board. Problems could be due to hardware (connectors or wiring). In this case the cycle doesn't start
if the problem is detected at Power up.
The machine will detect this fault during the spinning phase in 2 cases:
1) During spin speed acceleration: spin speed range of 95 - 700 rpm. If the spin speed cannot reach
target spin speed within a certain time, the alarm will be set and forces the machine to switch to
paused state.
2) During maximum spin speed (steady state), if the current consumption is greater than 3 Amps,
the alarm will be set and forces the machine to switch to paused state.
