12. Measure and Cut the Drip Rail
Measure from the edge of the strike jamb to the edge of the hinge jamb.
Subtract 1/8" (3 mm) from the measured distance and cut the drip rail to that measurement.
File the rough edges until they are smooth.
13. Install the Flat Seal
IMPORTANT! If the seal is misshapen when taken out of the packaging, immerse it in warm water until it
regains its proper shape.
NOTE: Water or petroleum jelly may help when sliding the seal in place.
Slide the seal into the groove in the drip rail.
Cut the seal to the same length as the drip rail.
Crimp each end of the drip rail with pliers to hold the seal in place.
