6 TrIM adJusTMenT of The ConTrol
The correct trim adjustment is a basic requirement for a fault-free driving behaviour
of the boat. Its adjustment is simple, but it requires some patience and a feel for it.
Please observe the following instructions precisely: Carefully pull back the speed
controller and start the boat.
6A If the boat automatically turns
right...
If the boat turns quickly or slowly to the
right, turn the steering trim adjustment
control anti-clockwise until the boat
travels straight ahead.
7 ConTrol of The BoaT
7A Accelerating: To start up, carefully
pull the speed controller back.
7C Turning left: To operate the boat along
a left-handed curve, carefully turn the
directional control to the left, as long as
the stern of the boat is facing toward the
operator.
8 ChangIng The ProPeller
If the propeller on the boat is damaged, it must be replaced. To do this, use pliers to
loosen the nut behind the propeller anticlockwise. Wrap and hold the propeller in a
cloth during this step. Warning, risk of injury: Never hold the propeller with bare
hands and ensure that there is no battery in the boat. Then turn the propeller down
in anticlockwise direction (8A).
When fitting the new propeller, make absolutely sure that the propeller is first completely
screwed onto the shaft. Then tighten the lock nut.

travels straight ahead.
7B Stopping/braking: To stop or brake,
carefully release the speed controller.

along a right-handed curve, carefully

GENErAL DrIVING TIPS:
• Do not steer too forcefully at high
speeds, otherwise the boat may capsize.
If the boat is upside down (e.g. due to a
collision), it can be turned the right way
up again by accelerating forwards and
backwards with jerky motions.
• Always makes sure to first push the boat
away from the bank.
• When choosing a suitable body of water,
take into account the wind direction and
the size of the lake. We do not recommend
operating the boat in flowing waters like
rivers and streams.
• Never operate the boat near swimmers,
animals or real boats in order to eliminate
the danger of collisions and damage.
• Always move the controls slowly and
with a gentle touch.
• Always maintain visual contact with the
boat and do not look at the remote
control!
• Throttle the speed and counter-steer as
soon as the boat drifts off in undesired
directions.
• In order to operate the boat along a
curve, it often suffices to turn the
steering very slightly in the respective
direction. There is a general tendency
during preliminary driving attempts to
operate the boat's controls too aggres-
SUITABLE BODIES OF WATEr:
The bodies of water in which the boat is operated should fulfil the following criteria:
• Take into account the size, depth and wind direction when choosing a suitable body
of water. The boat should, as a basic rule, only be operated in freshwater without a
current – in other words not in rivers, streams or salt water.
• The body of water/area must be free of obstacles, especially plants, debris, animals
or swimmers.
For boats and speedboats operated in open bodies of water, insurance is mandatory.
Contact your private liability insurance company and and make sure that your new and
earlier models are included in your insurance coverage. Request written confirmation
and keep this in a safe place.
sively. Steering and speed controllers
should always be moved slowly and
cautiously, never fast or fitfully.
• Beginners should master the use of the
remote control after the trim adjustment.
Do not perform fast and agile manoeuvres
of the boat in the beginning.
• Please keep this operating manual safe
for later use.
• The user should only operate this boat in
accordance with the instructions for use
in this operating manual.
• Switch off the remote control and the
boat's electronics when they are not in
use.
• Remove the batteries from the remote
control and the boat when not in use.
• Always maintain visual contact with the
submarine in order to avoid losing
control of it.
• As soon as the remote control no longer
functions reliably, new batteries should
be inserted.
• We recommend that persons who are
unfamiliar with model boats commission
this model under the instruction of an
experienced user.
• Please make sure that the frequency
you are using is free prior to each use.
