Description
Replacement parts kits are for use with
Campbell Hausfeld 5, 7 / , 10 and 15 HP

two-stage air compressors. Valve and
gasket rebuild kits include gaskets,
valve plate assembly and o-rings.
Unpacking
When unpacking this kit, carefully
inspect for any damage that may have
occurred during transit. Verify all parts
are on hand before beginning repair.
General Safety Information
Disconnect power.
Release all pressure
from the system before attempting to
install, service, relocate or perform any
maintenance.

3. Follow all local electrical and safety
codes, the National Electric Code
(NEC) and the Occupational Safety
and Health Act (OSHA).
4. Do not exceed the pressure limits
for any component in the system.
Assembly
TF/TX VALVE PLATE AND GASKET
1. Remove air filter.
2. Disconnect discharge tube at the
tank. Disconnect tube fittings from
side of pump head by removing the
three screws from each tube fitting.
3. Remove head bolts and belt guard
bracket (if present).
4. Remove head and valve plate
assembly from cylinder.
5. Clean old gasket material from
head and top of cylinder block.
Make sure not to nick or damage
the cylinder. The cylinder make leak

if nicked or damaged.
6. Rotate crankshaft and lightly scrape
carbon from the top of each piston.
7. Attach new cylinder to valve plate
