Introduction

The ProfiBus interface works as a bi-directional bridge between the
ProfiBus network and the Agilent RS-485 link (to the controller).
It is possible to connect from 1 up to 4 controllers, but only the same
type of controllers! For example 4 navigator, 4 HT series, 4 ICE series
and so on.
During the network configuration the user will be able to set some
parameters, the parameters list is different from one family to
another and are reported at:
During normal data exchange the interface provides input data
(measures) and output data (commands) to the master reported at:
In addiction, the interface provides standard and user related
diagnostics in order to allow the user to manage the exceptions.
This gateway is classified as DP slave device.
