Install the rubber bottom out bumpers onto the cartridge
shaft.
9.1.1
Before installing the actuator assembly onto the
shaft, and to avoid seatpost malfunction in case the
locknut is loose into the actuator housing, remove
the locknut from the actuator housing and tighten
it onto the shaft using the tool provided in kit F or
with the new cartridge. Then install the actuator
housing onto the shaft.

Slide the lower tube upwards and screw the actuator as-
sembly. (read first steps 9.1.1 and 9.1.2).
To avoid crossthreading the shaft, first screw a couple of
turns the actuator assembly onto the shaft, then slide the
outer tube downwards and screw the actuator assembly
into the lower tube.
Tighten the actuator assembly to 5Nm using a 10mm allen
wrench.

Some seatposts are fitted with a different
locknut design, that rather than with the use
of the locknut tool, need to be tightened into
the actuator housing with circlip pliers.
Before installing the actuator assembly onto
the shaft, tighten the locknut into the actua-
tor housing using circlip pliers.

Check the correct operation of the OC2 Drpper. Install the saddle clamp assenmbly, the saddle and the seatpost on the
bike.
