Warnings
1. The device must be used exclusively for the intended purpose described.
2. Do not use the device if any component is damaged, loose, detached, or missing. This includes battery
packs, headlight, cable, and electrical contacts/plugs. Parts that are broken, missing, distorted or worn
should be replaced immediately. Should such repair or replacement become necessary, ORASCOPTIC
OR AN AUTHORIZED SERVICE DEALER SHOULD PERFORM ALL REPAIRS TO THIS PRODUCT.
3. The use of power adapters and cables other than those provided for use with the device may result in
increased emissions or decreased immunity and may cause the system to be non-compliant with the
requirements of IEC 60601-1-2. Only the power adapter and cable that ships with the device should
be used to power the Zeon Endeavour series.
4. This product maintains compliance with blue light testing standards for safety set by the
International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC). As with all lighting products, there are risks to
staring directly into the light.
• IEC 62471 Risk Group 2 - CAUTION: Possibly hazardous optical radiation is emitted from this
product. Do not stare at operating lamp. May be harmful to the eyes.
5. Misuse of the battery may cause them to become hot, explode, or ignite and may cause serious injury.
The following safety warnings must always be followed:
• Never open or modify the battery pack or power adapter.
• Do not use outside.
• Protect from fluids and damp environments.
• Maintain operational environment of 32° to 104°F (0° to 40°C).
• Do not short circuit the electrical contacts.
• Do not bring any part of the device into contact with fire or severe heat over 158°F (70°C).
• If you determine that the device is hot, emits an odor, or changes color or shape, disconnect power
immediately. The device must not be used again.
6. Use of this equipment adjacent to or stacked with other equipment should be avoided because it could
result in improper operation. If such use is necessary, this equipment and the other equipment should
be observed to verify that they are operating normally.
7. Portable radio frequency communications equipment (including peripherals such as antenna cables
and external antennas) should be used no closer than 12 inches (30 cm) to any part of this device,
including cables specified by the manufacturer. Otherwise, degradation of the performance of this
equipment could result.

Cleaning and Disinfecting

The Zeon Endeavour series is a precision optical-electrical instrument manufactured from high quality
components. With proper care, it will provide a long and useful life. You must adhere to the following
instructions for proper cleaning and disinfecting, or damage may result.
DO NOT
• Do not spray directly onto the device
• Do not run any part of the device under water or submerge in any liquid or ultrasonic cleaner
• Do not hang or pull on exposed cables
• Do not use an autoclave, chemiclave, glutaraldehyde, iodophor, or any other sterilization method
• Do not use a cleaner with alcohol concentration greater than 70%
Cleaning
You may use soap and water to clean all parts of the device. Dampen or spray a soft cloth and then
wipe the device. Squeeze excess fluid out of the cloth or wipe before using. If your eyewear is heavily
soiled, first remove the headlight and then clean your eyewear. Dry your eyewear thoroughly before
reinstalling the headlight.
Disinfecting
You may disinfect the device with a low-alcohol disinfectant. Apply the disinfectant to a soft cloth
and then wipe the device. Squeeze excess fluid out of the cloth or wipe before using.
