01. GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS.
• Read these instructions in full before using
your device.
• This manual is an integral part of the product.
Keep it in a safe place for future consultation.
• This device is solely for domestic, non-indus-
trial use. Any use other than indicated may be
dangerous.
• Children must be supervised to ensure that
they do not play with the device.
• This device is not intended for use by persons
(including children) of reduced physical, sensory
or mental capacities, or lacking experience or
knowledge, except if they have had supervision
or instructions on the use of the device from a
person responsible for their safety.
• Do not make any modification or repair to the
device. If there is any anomaly in the cable or
other part of the device, do not use it and go to
an authorised assistance service.
• Do not use parts or accessories not supplied
or recommended by ELMA.
• Before plugging the device into the electrical
network, check that the indicated voltage mat-
ches that of your home.
• Always unplug the device after use and before
disassembling or attaching parts and carrying
out any maintenance or cleaning task. Also un-
plug in case of power outage. When plugging in
or unplugging the device, it must be disconnec-
ted, ensuring that the lid is unlocked.
• Do not hang the device by the cable. Always
unplug the device by pulling the plug, never the
cable.
• Avoid the power cable coming into contact
with sharp edges or hot surfaces. Do not leave
the cable hanging over the edge of the table our
countertop, to prevent children from pulling on it
and the device falling.
Never submerge the device in water or
other liquid or put it in the dishwasher.
• Do not leave the device plugged into the net-
work unsupervised.
• Always keep air inlets and outlets clear.
• Do not use outdoors.

• Check that the device is in good condition,
paying special attention to moving parts. In case
of detecting any anomaly, contact the distributor
where the product was acquired.
• Before connecting the device to the electrical
network, check that the voltage indicated on the
device corresponds with the voltage of the local
electrical network.
• Never leave the device unattended while it is
operating.
• To avoid harm or damage from the machine,
do not touch the sealing bar while it is operating.
• This machine can only be used to vacuum
pack foods. The machine is not authorised for
use for processes other than those indicated by
ELMA.
• It is recommended to place the packing ma-
chine on a rigid, horizontal surface, to prevent
rocking and vibrations during its operation. The
machine must be installed in areas away from
moisture, sources of heat, and areas with flam-
mable material.
• The manufacturer and seller are considered
responsible in terms of safety, reliability and per-
formance only if:
A- The device is used following the instruc-
tions for use.
B- The electrical installation complies with cu-
rrent regulations.
ATTENTION!!: When you wish to dispose of
the device, NEVER put it in the rubbish, instead
taking it to the WASTE FACILITY or waste collec-
tion facility closest to your home, for subsequent
processing, thereby contributing to care for the
environment.
