To ensure correct device operation, please read these installation/operating
instructions carefully and keep them in a safe place for future reference.

1 • SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING! Work on electrical systems must be carried out by
authorised personnel only, with due regard to the applicable
installation regulations. Switch off the power supply before
installing the system.
The device is only suitable for voltage in the range of 9.5 - 22.5 V DC!
Use this product only as intended (as described in the user
instructions). Changes or modifications to the product or painting
it will result in loss of warranty. You should check the device for
damage immediately after unpacking it. If there is any damage, you
should not install the device under any circumstances.
If you suspect that safe operation of the device cannot be
guaranteed, you should turn the device off immediately and make
sure that it cannot be operated unintentionally.

2 • DESCRIPTION
ESYLUX presence detector PD 360i/8 DALI ADR with a 360° field
of detection and a range of 8 m. ESYLUX presence detectors are
passive infrared detectors, which react to moving heat sources
(e.g. people) (Fig. 1 (1) working area (2) head-on to detector (3) diagonally
to detector). If the presence detector senses a change in thermal
radiation inside its field of detection, depending on the preset light
value, it will switch on the light channel for an adjustable period of
time.
The ESYLUX presence detector is designed exclusively for ceiling
mounting. With the appropriate accessories, surface and recessed
ceiling mounting options are also available. The ESYLUX presence
detector features factory settings and operates according to preset
values. The values can be individually modified using the ESYLUX
Mobil-PDi/DALI ADR remote control (available as an optional
accessory).
3 • INSTALLATION / ASSEMBLY / CONNECTION
The presence detector is a control device with an integrated
interface supply.
