3. Take out a BioTel Care®
Test Strip from the bottle,
and close the bottle
immediately. (Some meters
require the user to enter a
code from the vial. BioTel
Care® and Telcare® strips do
not require a code.)
4. Firmly insert the test strip
into your BioTel Care® BGM
until it is fully seated. The
Test Strip Port light will turn
on.
5. Prepare Your Lancing
Device (Refer to
Components Illustration)
5.1 Remove the lancing
device cap (f) by
snapping it off at an
angle.
5.2 Insert a new lancet (h)
into the lancet holder
(e). This action will
cock the device.
5.3 Hold the lancing
device fi rmly in one
hand, use your other
hand to twist off the
lancet cap (g).
5.4 Place the lancing device cap (f) back on the device with
the depth setting indicator window (b) aligned with the
activation button (c).
