12.2.2 Assembly of components removed for transport

The machine is delivered pre-assembled. Only the tailstock and the hand-rest have to be placed
and fixed in the required position.
Before commissioning, all (screw) connections must be checked for tightness.
Mount the copying device according to the drawings.

Remove the pushrod after use and store it in a safe place!

12.2.6 Surface preparation

The use of aggressive cleaning agents, e.g. paint thinners, petrol or aggressive
chemicals, can lead to damage to surfaces. Therefore, only use mild cleaning agents!
Remove the preservative applied to protect parts without painting against corrosion.

1. Attach the support surface to the legs.
2. Then place the rotating bed (1) on its
legs.
3. Place the headstock (2) and align the
holes in the rotating bed (3) with the
holes in the headboards (4) of the leg
sets.
4. Insert the hexagonal bolts (5) into the
holes and tighten them gently.
1. Remove the headstock spur from the
spindle.
2. Screw the face plate (diameter: 6 cm)
onto the spindle.
3. Fasten the workpiece to the face plate
using brass pan-head screws.
N O T I C E
1. Separate the face plate (2) from the
spindle nut using the push rod (5) and
wrench (6).
2. Insert the headstock spur (3) into the
spindle bore.
3. Insert the built-in, rotating tip (4) into
the bore of the tailstock!
4. 8. To remove either headstock spur or
tailstock center, insert thrust rod (5)
into the bore (6) at the opposite end of
the headstock or tailstock.
