11. Install U-Handle assembly on lower bracket (I), and secure with
one (1) 8mm x 55mm bolt and one (1) 8 mm flat washer (K). Do not
tighten bolt securely until final adjustments are completed.
12. Install power head and align gear box, power head and U-handles.
Tighten all screws.
13. Place throttle linkage cable (M) through adjustment fixture (C) and
install wire end (N) into large carburetor throttle swivel hole (B).
14. Connect ignition stop leads.
Models SRM-210/211/i/SB, SRM-2400/SB Only: Attach jumper
wires (O, P) to stop switch wires as shown. Connect loose ends of
jumpers to spade terminal wire and ground screw on engine.
All Other Models: Connect ignition stop switch wires directly to
ignition wires on engine. (Jumpers not required)
15. Gather ignition wires and position behind air filter case.
Units with 1 clutch case bolt
16A. Remove clutch case bolt (R). Install metal bracket clamp (Q) with
curved end up. Install throttle cable tubing into bracket clamp and
pinch tight with pliers. Bend bracket up and flush against drive
shaft.
Units with 2 clutch case bolts
16B. Remove left side clutch case bolt (S). Install metal bracket clamp
(Q) with curved end down. Install throttle linkage into bracket
clamp and pinch tight with pliers.
