Electrical installation and start-up
(for units with Part No. 301374 only)
• Plug the 5-pin mains and connection cable (3) into the
corresponding connector on the neutralisation device.
The plug must click in position.
• Connect the white plug of the signal line to the ProE
switching field of the condensing boiler so that the
error messages are incorporated in the safety chain. In
the event of a functional fault in the feed pump the
boiler is switched off until the fault is rectified.
• Secure the signal line with a tension reducer supplied
with the system ProE switching field.
Connection to the 230 V mains supply
Connection to the 230 V mains voltage can take place in
two different methods:
• Connect the mains line to the 230 V mains voltage via
the mains voltage output of the boiler
or
• Fit a mains plug to the mains lead and connect the
pump via a mains socket. (The plug is not supplied)
All 3 LEDs light up for approx. 2 seconds and the safety
chain is closed.
This prepares the unit for operation and the condensing
boiler can be started up again.
4
Function (only for units with Part
No.: 301374)
The feed pump is controlled by sensors of different
lengths to provide filling level control.
If the max sensor of the liquid is reached the feed pump
starts to pump away and stops only after the level drops
below the min sensor.
This process repeats on a cyclic basis depending upon
the filling level.
5
Malfunctions (only for units with
Part No.: 301374)
- If the red LED "error" lights up continuously the max
level has been exceeded and the overflow sensor has
been reached. The safety chain is opened.
This interrupts the power supply to the condensing
boiler.
The feed pump stays in operation.
- If the level drops below the max level again the safety
chain is closed The red LED goes out.
- If the red and yellow LEDs are flashing there is an en-
during fault with the feed pump. The safety chain of
the condensing boiler remains open until the fault is
rectified.
- If only the red LED is flashing there is an enduring
fault on the level sensors. The safety chain of the con-
densing boiler remains open until the fault is rectified.

Maintenance
e
Danger!
Switch the condensing boiler off before opening
and carrying out maintenance on the device
(mains switch and fuses)!
Only for units with Part No.:301374:
Switch the power supply off before opening the
cover!
The neutralisation device must be checked at least once
a year. Consumed neutralisation medium should be re-
placed. The effectivity of the neutralisation is checked
using pH paper. This is done by wetting the pH paper
with the condensed water draining from the hose. If you
obtain a reading of less than 6.5 the neutralisation de-
vice must be cleaned immediately and be re-filled with
10 kg of neutralisation medium.
This neutralisation medium is ecologically harmless and
can be disposed of in the buider's waste or household
waste.
a
Caution!
When servicing the system, the filling level sen-
sors at accessible points must be cleaned with
a vinegar-soaked cloth (only for units with Part
No.: 301374).
In addition, you must check whether the strain-
er in the condensed water inlet has become
blocked.
