Cleaning and Disinfecting Warnings
• Use only validated cleaning agents and disinfectants (see tables) in
accordance with labeled instructions. Use of non-listed cleaners may
damage the hose, shorten product life, or cause safety hazards.
• Fluids entering hose can damage monitor. When cleaning or
lubricating hose, prevent liquid from entering hose.
• Never immerse hose in liquid.
Cleaning
To keep hose free of dust and dirt, refer to the following table for
recommended cleaning agents. Do not allow sustained contact with
cleaners — remove immediately by wiping hose with a clean water-
dampened cloth.
To clean the neonatal connector, wipe with mild soap and water and dry
with a clean, lint-free cloth. Do not allow fluid to enter the hose opening.
