Sterilizing
The neonatal hoses (M1596C and M1597C) have not been tested to
withstand sterilization. Do not sterilize neonatal hoses.
CAUTION: Do not autoclave the hoses.
Prior to sterilizing the adult hoses (M1598B and M1599B), clean them first
(see Cleaning). To avoid long term damage to the hoses, sterilize only
when necessary as specified by your facility.
The adult hoses (M1598B and M1599B) have been tested to withstand
Ethylene Oxide (EtO) gas sterilization. Be sure that all safety precautions
regarding aeration after EtO exposure are followed.
