b) Direct modification of the K FACTOR value
To display the screen shown in figure 25, press and hold
down the TOTAL button.
The new display will show the message EDIT and the
modification arrows, fig. 26
Modify the direction of the arrows with brief presses of
the TOTAL button.
Modify the K FACTOR value by pressing the RESET
button.
Once the required value is displayed, confirm the
calibration by pressing and holding down the TOTAL
button.
c) K FACTOR value check
(without making modifications)
Enter the customisation menu for direct modification of
the K FACTOR value (see point b).
To exit without making any modifications, it is possible
to wait the idle time to return to Standby status or press
and hold down the TOTAL button for a few seconds (3 s)
MAINTENANCE AND ERRORS
REPLACING THE BATTERIES
The litre-counter has two battery low alarm levels:
a) When the battery charge falls below the first level, the
battery symbol flashes on the display, fig. 27.
In this mode the litre-counter can still continue to work
correctly for a short time. It is advisable to replace the
batteries.
b) Continuous use of the litre-counter with flat batteries
will reach the second alarm level, which corresponds to
complete inhibition of litre-counter operation.
The image displayed will be that shown in figure 28. The
batteries must be replaced in order to continue to work.
To replace the batteries, proceed as follows:
1.
Wait for the litre-counter to go on STANDBY and
until the display appears as in fig. 28
2.
Undo the battery compartment cap, fig. 29
3.
Remove the depleted batteries
4.
ATTENTION: The batteries must be disposed of in
compliance with the current regulations.
5.
Fit the new batteries in the place of the old ones,
making sure the positive pole is positioned as indi-
cated on the compartment (see label).
6.
Refit the battery compartment cap, making sure
the seal and spring are correctly positioned: the
litre-counter will switch on automatically and its
normal use can be resumed. It will show the same
Reset Total, the same Total and the same Partial
indicated before replacing the batteries.
After replacing the batteries, and after any lack of power,
the litre-counter will restart using the same calibration
factor in use at the time of the power failure; therefore
no calibration of the litre-counter is necessary.

Afficher la page-écran de la figure 25 presser sans la
relâcher la touche TOTAL
Le nouveau display affichera l'inscription EDIT et les
flèches de modification, fig. 26
Modifier le sens des flèches en appuyant brièvement
sur la touche TOTAL.
Modifier la valeur K FACTOR avec les pressions de la
touche RESET.
Après avoir affiché la valeur souhaitée confirmer le
calibrage en pressant sans la relâcher la touche TOTAL .
c) Contrôle de la valeur K FACTOR
(sans effectuer de modifications)
Entrer dans le menu de personnalisation dédié à la
modification directe de la valeur K FACTOR (voir point b).
Pour sortir sans effectuer de modifications on peut
attendre le temps d'inactivité pour revenir à l'état de
Stand-by ou presser sans la relâcher la touche TOTAL
pendant quelques secondes (3 s)
ENTRETIEN ET ERREURS
REMPLACEMENT DES PILES
Le compte-litres est équipé de deux niveaux d'alarmes
de pile épuisée:
a) Quand la charge de la pile descend au-dessous du
premier niveau, le symbole clignotant de la pile apparait
sur display, fig. 27.
Dans cette modalité le compte-litres est en mesure de
continuer encore pendant peu de temps à travailler cor-
rectement. Nous conseillons le remplacement des piles.
b) Une utilisation continue du compte-litres avec des
piles épuisées amènera à l'atteinte du deuxième niveau
d'alarme qui correspond à l'interdiction du fonctionne-
ment du compte-litres complet.
L'image affichée sera celle de la figure 28. Pour continuer
à travailler il faudra remplacer les piles.
Pour remplacer les piles, procéder de la façon suivante:
Attendre que le compte-litres aille en STAND-
1.
BY et que le display se présente comme sur la
fig. 28
2.
Dévisser le bouchon des piles, fig. 29
3.
Enlever les piles épuisées
4.
ATTENTION: l'élimination des piles doit être faite
conformément aux lois en vigueur
5.
Mettre les nouvelles piles dans la position des
précédentes, en s'assurant que le pôle positif soit
positionné selon l'indication qui se trouve dans le
logement (voir étiquette)
6.
Revisser le bouchon des piles, en s'assurant que
le joint et le ressort soient correctement position-
