Make sure to adhere to the following guidelines when using your CHANEL headphones:
• Sound levels are measured in decibels (dB). Exposure to sound levels of 85 dB or more can cause hearing
loss over time.
• Use your headphones safely. Hearing loss is related to loudness and exposure time: the louder the volume,
the less you should be exposed; the more moderate the volume, the longer you can safely listen.
• To prevent risk of damage to your hearing, remember to turn down the volume on your music player before
plugging in your headphones. Once you put on the headphones, turn up the volume gradually until you reach a
comfortable level for listening.
• Take care to avoid turning up the volume as your ear becomes accustomed to the sound and do not set the
volume so high that it completely blocks out sounds around you
• When using your headphones, we recommend that you:
− pay attention to your environment.
− do not use the headphones during any activity that requires your undivided attention and could cause an
accident to you or another person (pedestrian, motor cyclist, driver or cyclist) or cause damage.
• Please do not use your headphones when driving. This practice is in fact illegal in some countries.
DISPOSING OF THE PRODUCT
