Note: If you connect the earth cable directly to a minus connection and not to terminal 15, the device will remain
permanently switched on. This does not affect the operation of the device, but it is not recommended.

We recommend installing the device in the upper third of the engine compartment since martens, due to their burro-
wing behaviour, instinctively make their way up through the engine cavity. Moreover, this facilitates installation and
ensures that all of the components are better protected from dirt.

After installing and connecting the ultrasonic device, we recommend retesting the device to ensure that it functions
correctly. Perform the test using an ultrasonic tester (Item code. 07595). If the function check is successful but ul-
trasound is not emitted after installation, an installation error has occurred.
Blinking at regular intervals (approx. every 5 seconds) = OK: Ultrasound is being emitted.
LED off = device is switched off.

1. Is the operating voltage (12 V plus) of the car battery also present at the unit connection?
2. Is the engine switched off?
3. Does the cable to terminal 15 have any voltage? (Is the ignition switched on? If so, the device will be switched off.)

Our Standard ultrasonic device comes with a 48-month functional warranty.
Warranty 1. Any reasonable complaints within the warranty period from the date of purchase will be remedied free of
charge, either through repair or delivery of a replacement product at our discretion. In order for the warranty
to apply, our product must have been properly installed and maintained in accordance with our installation
instructions.
2. To enable us respond to problems, please return the complete unit, including the cable and installation invoice,
initially at your own expense.
3. Installation and removal costs will only be covered by us in the event that the device is proven to be defective.
Any claim under Section 5 of our General Terms and Conditions shall remain unaffected, subject to the
conditions set out therein.
4. Any damage caused by improper installation or incorrect, negligent or forceful operation shall invalidate the
warranty. There shall be no liability for consequential damage.
