1.
Disconnect the earth lead from the battery.
2.
Limousine:
Uncover boot floor lid and rear lights screens. Disassemble left stringer screen in boot floor in front of left lights and
drill a hole of 20 mm diameter in proper place (between left stringer and spare wheel well).
Touring
3.
Uncover boot floor lid and open left and right side hatch. Uncover rear lights screens. Drill a hole of 20 mm diameter
in proper place (between left stringer and spare wheel well) near end of rear metal plate.
4.
Protect edge with an anticorrosive agent.
5.
Connect the cable set in the following way:
a) Pull the end of cable set with metal terminal and attached rubber grommet through the hole described in point 3
from boot outside to socket mounting point,
b) Draw attached rubber socket retaining plate over the end of cable set (if necessary use anti-friction agent),
c) Disassemble the socket and connect cables according to the following assignment:

6.
Push the socket with rubber retaining plate and screw the socket tightly onto the retaining plate using the supplied
nuts and screws:
a) Pay special attention to the right position of rubber retaining plate,
b) Put the cable set gently to avoid any folds and to secure it from possible wiping.
