1.
Disconnect the earth lead from the battery.
2.
Remove the boot bottom lining, loading edge casing, rear bumper, and the housing of the C post (left). Remove the
clamping that block the back seat rests (left), boot side casing (left) and remove both rear lights.
3.
In order to draw cable set (connection to socket) drill, in the place indicated (at the left-hand side rear body plate), a
hole of approx. Ø 6 mm in diameter. Then, enlarge the hole up to approx. Ø 25 mm in diameter. Secure the hole
drilled with appropriate anticorrosion remedy.
4.
Connect the cable set in the following way:
a) Draw end of lead bunch with metal lead ends through the place referred to in point 3 from boot outside and
through a hole by connection socket handle, assemble supplied grommet in the drilled hole,
b) Draw attached rubber socket retaining plate over the end of cable set (if necessary use anti-friction agent),
c) Disassemble the socket and connect cables according to the following assignment:

5.
Push the socket with rubber retaining plate and screw the socket tightly onto the retaining plate using the supplied
nuts and screws:
a) Pay special attention to the right position of rubber retaining plate,
b) Put the cable set gently to avoid any folds and to secure it from possible wiping.
