Clamp the workpiece in case it does not remain stationary by its own
weight.
Do not overload equipment so that it comes to a standstill.
Grinding
The best result are achieved with an angle of 15° to 40° for
grinding. Move the machine back and forth with light pressure.
In this manner, the workpiece does not become too hot, no dis-
coloration occurs and no ridges are produced.
Under no circumstances should a cutting disk be used for
roughing work.
Fan Grinding Plate
With the fan grinding plate (accessory), curved surfaces and profiles can also
be worked (contour grinding).
Fan grinding discs have a much longer service life, lower noise level and lower
grinding temperature than grinding discs.
Cutting
For cutting, work with moderate advancing and do not tilt the
machine or the cutting disk. The best method for cutting profiles
and square tubes is to start with the smallest cross section.
Cutting of Masonry
The machine can be used only for dry grinding and cutting.
It is best to use a diamond cutting disk. To protect against tilting,
the cutting guide with special guard (accessory) should be used.
Work only with dust vacuuming and wear a dust protection
mask. The vacuum cleaner must be suitable for vacuuming ma-
sonry dust.
Suitable vacuum cleaners are available from Würth.
Switch on the machine and apply the front part of the cutting
guide to the workpiece. Work with uniform feeding and moder-
ate pressure.
Operating Instructions
Cutting discs that are running on should not be braked
to a stop with side pressure.
