Supplement to the ET 200M operating instructions
This section lists all of the supplements to the sections of the ET 200M operating instructions.

"Redundancy"

Supplement to section 4.2.4: Installing Active Bus Modules and Modules (Configuration with Active Bus Modules)
Plugging in Output Modules During Operation of an ET 200M Installation
NOTICE
Ensure that the screw on the module does not become caught on the mounting rail when pulling and plugging modules.
Otherwise the module can become caught when pulling and plugging. Proper pulling and plugging of the module is then
no longer possible. This can result in faults on the backplane bus and neighboring modules.
Note on Section 6: Commissioning
Check coding elements in the module
Ensure that both coding elements are present on the module before the front connector is plugged in for the first time. This
reduces the risk of a wired front connector being plugged into the wrong module type when a module is replaced.
