MODELS WITH MADAS VALVE

ATTENTION: all installation/cabling/servicing operations must be performed
by qualified personnel.
• Shut off the gas supply valve before installation.
• Make sure that the gas supply pressure IS NOT HIGHER than the maximum pressure indicated on
the product label.
• The arrow (shown on the device's body(6)) must point to the user. The installation in vertical position
is also admitted. Installation cannot be performed upside down (with bobbin (2) on the bottom).
• Make sure that no debris or metal remains penetrate the device.
• If the device is threaded, make sure that the tube's thread is not too long in order to avoid damaging
the device's body (6) while screwing. Do not use the bobbin (2) as lever for screwing, use the proper
tool instead. Connect the valve to the system with properly threaded tubes.
• If the device has flanges, make sure that the respective output and input flanges are perfectly paral-
lel, so that the device is not subject to useless mechanical stress. Also consider some space to intro-
duce the seal. If the remaining space after introducing the seals is excessive, do not try to fill it by
tightening the bolts too much.
• In any case, make sure that the system is properly sealed after installation.

ADJUSTMENT

• Use bolt (1) to adjust the opening speed of the shutter. The opening speed of the shutter increases,
when bolt (1) is screwed clockwise. N.B. Variations of entry pressure and of environment temperature
may affect the valve's opening speed.
• To adjust the flow, unscrew the protection cover (16) (if present) and use bolt (15). Screw the bolt
clockwise to decrease the flow, screw the bolt counterclockwise to increase the flow.
