Voltage Matching not working
NOTE: it is assumed that the grid voltage is within the Min Limit and Max Limit set in Other settings / Voltage
matching with reference to the rated voltage of the generator.
Check the connections; in particular, check the generator sensing connections (terminals S1 – S2 – S3)
Step 1
and the grid sensing connections (terminals L1 – L2).
Modify any incorrect connections.
Otherwise, move to Step 2
Step 2
Check whether the Voltage Matching function is enabled: if the control system issues the closing
command for the VMATCH contact (C7 by default), in the Monitor area of D-Vo Dashboard, the
VMATCH LED must be on.
If the voltage matching function is enabled, move to Step 3.
Otherwise, check whether the VMATCH (C7) contact is working properly by following the procedure
described below:
1. fully disconnect D-VO from the remainder of the system;
2. insert a jumper between C7 and M and power D- VO from an external source, in accordance with
the specifications;
3. check the colour of the VMATCH LED.
If:
the LED is off: move to Step 3.
the LED is on: the Voltage Matching state is properly enabled when the VMATCH contact is closed;
therefore you need to check the proper operation of the control system of the VMATCH contact (a
component not supplied by Marelli).
Step 3
Replace the regulator.
