9. Remove bolt and nut securing hip throttle assembly to back
pack frame using 1/2" and 7/16" open end wrenches. Retain
fasteners and hip throttle assembly for future application.
10. From outside the blower frame, feed new throttle cable and
ignition wire assembly through right side hole (L) in frame.
11. Turn throttle shaft (M) fully clockwise. Install throttle cable
wire bend into carburetor throttle plate hole with needle nose
pliers.
12. Set throttle grip control lever to idle position. Place fan
case half of cable clamp (H) in position over fan case boss.
13. Pull throttle wire lightly removing all slack from wire without
turning throttle shaft.
14. Turn nut (N) on throttle cable in or out until it matches
cable indent in clamp mount. Assemble throttle cable, fuel
return line, spark plug lead and outer clamp half together
and secure clamp to fan case.
