Before placing your already frozen food in the appliance
Make sure it has been properly stored at the place of purchase,
Make sure that it has been frozen under good conditions and that the packaging
is intact,
Put it in the appliance as soon as possible after purchase and transport it in a
suitable container.

The storage period depends on the type of food; always read the producer's
instructions on the packaging.
Do not eat food items after the use-by date has expired, as this could result in
food poisoning.
Before freezing, label the packages of prepared food and fresh products so
that they can be identified, and label the contents and the freezing date.
The maximum quantity of food that can be frozen in 24 hours is specified on
the nameplate of the appliance. Please refer to it.
Do not freeze too much food at one time. Instead, freeze small portions. The
faster the food is frozen, the more it will retain its qualities. Similarly, be sure to
package your food before freezing, so that it retains all its flavour and does not
ruin the other products. Never store food without packaging.
Do not freeze hot food in the appliance, as this could make the previously
frozen food spoil.
Do not put fresh food in contact with previously frozen food in the appliance.
This could affect the temperature of the previously frozen food.

Open the door as little as possible and do not leave it open too long to prevent
the temperature from rising.
Make sure that the appliance is located away from any source of heat (direct
sunlight, electric heating, hobs, etc.)
Do not set the temperature to a colder temperature than necessary.
Make sure that the freezer door is always closed properly and that there is
nothing preventing it from closing.

The freezer must always be defrosted when the layer of ice is about 4 mm thick.
In any event, it must be defrosted at least once a year.
To defrost, use a squeegee or any plastic utensil, but do not use metal instruments,
de-icing products or electric appliances such as hairdryers, steam cleaners, etc.
Switch off the appliance and unplug it before defrosting.
To defrost the appliance:
1.
Choose a time when your appliance does not have much in it.
2.
Remove the frozen food, wrap it in several layers of newspaper, cover it and store
it in a cool place, but never on a metal surface.
3.
Leave the door open and sponge as the ice melts.
4.
To speed up the defrosting process, you can place a container with hot water in
the freezer and close the door.
5.
When defrosting is complete, clean your appliance.

Switch off the appliance and unplug it before cleaning.
Regularly clean and disinfect your appliance.
1.
Defrost the appliance before cleaning.
2.
Clean the inside of the appliance with a soft sponge and warm soapy water.
3.
After cleaning, rinse with clean water and dry the parts thoroughly.
4.
Once everything is dry, the appliance can be turned back on.
Never clean the appliance with a steam cleaner. Moisture could accumulate
in the electrical components, causing a risk of electric shock ! Hot steam can
damage plastic parts.
Do not pour water into the appliance to clean it, as this could affect its electrical
insulation properties.
The door seals must be kept clean at all times. Clean them with hot water and
thoroughly dry them.
Never use abrasive or caustic products, or sponges with scrapers to clean the
inside or outside of your appliance.
Dust the compressor at the bottom behind the appliance at least once a year.
The dust layers increase the consumption of electricity.
