Probable cause and solution
•
Check for correct voltage on the outlet and/or the
circuit breaker.
•
Make sure the electrical installation was made
according to the wiring table on page 2.
•
Change the battery in your remote control.
•
Check the maximum weight capacity of the motor to
make sure the motor used can handle the load.
•
The crown is not properly fitted to the tube.
Move the shade slightly up or down (approximately 10 in)
and try again.
Make sure the motor has made at least 2 full turns
from the preceding limit before doing the
Program"
sequence described in the function to set an
intermediate limit.
The motor has exceeded thermal overheat protection.
Wait for the motor to cool down for approximately 15 min.
•
The drive and the crown are not well adapted to the tube.
•
The shade is not snug between the brackets.
•
Debris, screws or other items are in your tube.
Note:
The noise level of any motorized shade installed in a cassette or
fascia will always be higher. Take into consideration that a cassette is an
enclosed structure that will behave like an echo chamber.
The circuit could be overloaded and the motors are
shutting down on overheat protection. Make sure there
are no more than 5 motors per 15 A breaker or
additional loads.
