TIMING
This will toggle the timing mode on or off.
C/F
This will toggle between Celsius and Fahrenheit temperature display.
To Start the unit.
Plug the unit in. It will beep and light the whole display for 3 seconds.

The normal display after start-up shows the time, and the hot and cold
temperature readings are alternately displayed for 3 seconds.
When the cold water temperature is displayed, the cup with a
snowflake symbol is lit.
When the hot water temperature is displayed, the cup with heat
waves above it is lit.
➤ To Manually Start the Water Heater
Push the HEATING button momentarily. The heating indicator's (3)
heat wave symbols will light in sequence. Once the setpoint
temperature is reached, all (3) heat wave symbols will all be lit.
During operation, If the stored hot water drops 5° C (9° F) below the
setpoint temperature, the heater will start automatically.
➤ To Shut Off the Heater
Push and hold the HEATING button for 1 second. The heater will turn
off and the heat wave symbols will be turned dim.
➤ To Manually Start the Water Chiller
Push the COOLING button momentarily. The cooling indicator
snowflake symbol will flash alternating parts of the symbol. Once the
setpoint temperature is reached, the snowflake symbol will be lit
steadily.
During operation, If the stored chilled water rises 3° C (5.5° F) above
the setpoint temperature, the compressor will start automatically. It
will also start if the chiller compartment's temperature reached 5° C
(41° F). The compressor used for cooling the water is the same unit
that chills the compartment. The chiller compartment temperature is
not adjustable.
➤ To Shut Off the Water Chiller
Push and hold the COOLING button for 1 second. The snowflake
symbol will be dimmed. This will stop the cooling of water, and also
stop the cooling of the chiller compartment.

➤ To Set the Hot Water Setpoint
Press the SETTING button once to show the high temperature. The
temperature display will flash with the current heating setpoint. (The
factory setting is 95° C (203° F). The maximum temperature setting is
95° C (203° F). The lowest allowable setting is 35° C (95° F). Press the
HEATING button to raise the temperature setting, and press the
COOLING button to lower it. Note that the timing mode must be off
before setting the setpoints.
➤ To Set the Cool Water Setpoint
Press the SETTING button a second time. The temperature display will
flash with the current cooling setpoint. (The factory setting is 5° C (41°
F). The minimum temperature setting is 5° C (41° F). The highest
allowable setting is 25° C (77° F). Press the HEATING button to raise
the temperature setting, and press the COOLING button to lower it.
The setpoint can only be set when the timing mode is off.
➤ To Set the Time of Day
Press the SETTING button a third time. The time display will flash.
Press and hold or repeatedly press the HEATING button to scroll the
hour forward. Press COOLING to scroll the minutes forward. The time
of day can only be set when the timing mode is off.
➤ To Set the Timer
The WD2 Hot and Cold Water Dispenser has an energy-saving feature
which shuts down the unit once each 24 hour period. This shutdown
will only occur when the unit is in the timer mode. In manual mode
there is no shutdown period.
• The default setting shuts off at 6:30 P.M. and restarts at
7:30 A.M.
• This setting can be changed (refer to the instructions below).
• Custom settings must be re-entered if the unit is unplugged or
loses power.
Setting the timer sets the start-up and shut-off time for the unit. The
factory setting is to start the unit at 7:30 AM and shut it off at 6:30
P.M. To change this setting:
1. Press the TIMING button. The clock symbol will light.
2. Press the SETTING button once. The start-up time will flash on and
off.
3. Press the HEATING button to scroll the hours forward. AM and PM
will change as the time is scrolled through 12.
4. Press the COOLING button to scroll forward in 10 minute
increments.
5. Press the SETTING button a second time to move to the shut-off
time. Set this time using the same procedure as the start-up time.
6. Pressing the SETTING button again will save these settings, and
return the unit to operating mode. Note that if you do not press
the SETTING button, the setting shown will be saved after 10
seconds, and the unit will return to operating mode.
7. When the clock symbol is lit, the unit will start and stop at the
times specified. To take the unit out of timed operation, push the
TIMING button. The clock symbol will be dimmed.
➤ To Set Temperature Display Units
Press the C/F key to toggle between Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F).
