Battery
A battery that is new or has not been used for a longer period does
not develop its full capacity until after approx. 2 – 3 charging/
discharging cycles.
Do not place down the battery on radiators or expose it to intense
sunlight for longer periods; temperatures above 50 °C cause damage.
Keep the contacts/terminals of the charger and replaceable battery
clean. For optimal service life, fully charge the battery after use.
Overload protection
When overloading the battery through very high power consumption,
e.g. from extreme high torque applications, jamming of the drill bit,
sudden stopping or short-circuiting, the power tool will hum for 2

The battery can heat up considerably under extreme load. In this case,

Dust Extraction

Dusts from materials such as lead-containing coatings, some wood

Maintenance and Cleaning

Disconnect the plug from the power source and/or the battery
pack from the power tool before making any adjustments,
changing accessories or storing power tools. Such preventive
safety measure reduce the risk of starting the power tool
accidentally.
For safe and proper working, always keep the product and
ventilation slots clean.
If the product should fail despite the care taken in manufacturing and
testing procedures, repair should be carried out by a Würth master-
Service.
In all correspondence and spare parts orders, please always include
the article number given on the type plate of the machine.
