Description
Corrosion resistant shallow well ejector package (Model BK4875)
includes a plastic shallow well ejector, necessary mounting
hardware, and an assortment of venturis and nozzles to suit your
pump model. For use with Berkeley Pump Models 3PL, 5PL, 7PL,
10PL, 10PLS11C and 15PLS11C (See Page 7 for Performance).
General safety information

Be sUre pump is turned off and all pressure is re leased
before installing shallow well ejector.

Premium Shallow Well
DisassemBly
Refer to Figure 5 for part description and part list.
1. Remove the 4 screws that fasten the insert assembly into
ejector body (See Figure 1).
2. Unscrew the venturi from the ejector body insert (See Figure
2).
3. Use 5/8" deepwell socket to gently unscrew nozzle from ejector
body insert (See Figure 2).
4. Select the correct nozzle and venturi from Table I.
5. Reassemble as follows.

1. Select nozzle and venturi according to Table I.
2. Thread nozzle into ejector body insert (See Figure 2). Use 5/8"
socket to seat nozzle. Do not overtighten.
3. Install small O-Ring in groove on venturi (See Figure 2). Thread
venturi into ejector body insert (See Figure 1) hand tight.
4. Install O-ring in groove on end of ejector body (See Figure 1).
Thread check valve onto ejector body (See Figure 1) hand
tight. Be sure O-Ring is seated in groove.
5. Install gasket on step in ejector body; install ejector body insert
in ejector body (be sure it seats) with D-shaped opening DOWN
(toward AVC plug) and venturi UP (See Figure 1).
6. Use four screws to mount insert assembly in ejector body
(See Figure 1). Be sure insert assembly is seated and all four
screws are well started before tightening any screw. Do not
overtighten.
note: When insert assembly is correctly installed and ejector body
is right side up, AVC port will be on bottom of ejector body and
molded-in part number on insert (N40-39P) will be at 9:00 o'clock
position as you look into ejector body.
installation
1. Loosen stainless steel clamp (Figure 5, Ref. No. 2) until it fits
over ejector body flange.
2. Place O-ring in circular groove on face of pump flange (See
Figure 3).
