Read all safety warnings and
all instructions. Failure to follow
the warnings and instructions may result in serious
injury.
Save all warnings and instructions for future
reference.
Wear safety glasses/goggles.
For long hair, wear hair protection. Work
only with closely fitting clothes.
Use ear protection during opera-
tion.
The saw blade teeth are very
sharp and can cause injuries. Wear
protective gloves when mounting
and replacing the saw blade!
 Keep bystanders a safe distance away
from work area. Anyone entering the
work area must wear personal protec-
tive equipment. Fragments of workpiece or of a
broken accessory may fly away and cause injury
beyond immediate area of operation.
 Never hold the workpiece to be sawn in
your hand or over your leg. Secure the
workpiece against a stable surface. It is
important to properly secure the workpiece, in
order to minimise the hazard of body contact, jam-
ming of the saw blade or loss of control.
 Never use damaged or the wrong saw
blade washers or fastening screws. These
saw blade washers or fastening screws were spe-
cially designed for your saw, for safe operation and
optimum performance.
 While working, never guide your hand or
fingers in front of the saw blade.
 Do not work materials containing asbes-
tos. Asbestos is considered carcinogenic.
 Guide the pneumatic tool toward the work piece
only when switched on.
 The cutting path must be free of obstructions at the
top and bottom.

Safety Warnings for Jigsaws

 After finishing the working procedure, switch the
machine off, wait until the saw blade comes to a
complete stop and then remove the jigsaw from the
cut (danger of kickback).
 After switching off, do not stop the saw blade by
applying lateral pressure to it.
 Use only sharp and perfectly working saw blades;
replace cracked or bent saw blades immediately.
Keep the saw blades sharp. As a general rule, only
Würth saw blades should be used.
 Never allow children to use the machine.
 Chips or splinters may not be removed while the
motor is running.
 Plunge cutting is only possible in soft materials
(wood, light building materials for walls); for hard
materials (metals), a hole must be drilled that is suf-
ficiently sized to accommodate the saw blade.
 Secure the workpiece. A workpiece clamped
with clamping devices or in a vice is held more
secure than by hand.
 Before any work on the machine, during work
breaks as well as when not using, disconnect the air
supply.
 Do not direct the machine against other persons or
animals.
 The safety actuation lever may not be removed or
manipulated.
 The machine provides no insulation in case of con-
tact with electrical lines.
 Use only original Würth accessories.
Working safely with this product
is possible only when the operat-
ing and safety information are
read completely and the instruc-
tions contained therein are strictly
followed.
