Inserting the Tool Holder
Remove the fastening screws 2 and take off the contact
protector 4.
Loosen the fastening screw of the tool holder.
Insert the tool holder to the stop onto the piston rod and
tighten the fastening screw.
Mount the contact protector 4.

Initial Operation

 Connect the machine to a compressed-air
line system with maintenance unit (filter,
regulator, oiler).
 Using suitable lubricants can significantly
increase the cutting performance.
Switching On and Off
To switch on, press the actuation lever 3.
To switch off, release the actuation lever 3.
Never start the machine without an application tool in
the tool holder!
Infinitely Variable Speed Control
The stroke frequency can be reduced by means of a
pressure-reduction valve connected on the line side.
The use of a pressure-reduction valve is generally rec-
ommended.
Sawing
Mount the counter-holder 7.
For safety reasons, the counter-holder 7 must be
mounted and tightened.
Applying firm leverage with the counter-holder 7
reduces vibrations. The counter-holder is adjustable
and allows for setting the saw blade depth. To adjust
the position of the counter-holder 7, loosen fastening
screw 2 by 1/2 turn. Adjust the desired setting and
tighten the screw again.
Use suitable lubricants for metal materials.
Dust Extraction
Dusts from materials such as lead-containing coatings,
some wood types, minerals and metal can be harmful
to one's health. Touching or breathing-in the dusts can
cause allergic reactions and/or lead to respiratory
infections of the user or bystanders.
Certain dusts, such as oak or beech dust, are consid-
ered as carcinogenic, especially in connection with
wood-treatment additives (chromate, wood preserva-
tive). Materials containing asbestos may only be
worked on by specialists.
• Provide for good ventilation of the working place.
• It is recommended to wear a P2 filter-class respira-
tor.
Observe the relevant regulations in your country for the
materials being worked on.

nect the compressed-air supply.
Safety of the tool can only be ensured through regular
maintenance.
