3. Lay out and assemble the poles.
4. Push the poles into the sleeves, cordless end first (a). The two dark poles
are inserted to the back and front respectively (a1), the longer, light pole
in the middle (a2). The pole sleeve in the middle is marked with light grey
webbing straps. Tense each pole and push it into the appropriate point on
the base (b).
assembly of the outer tent only: put the pole ends into the sockets of
the outer tent and tense the poles (B1). Continue with point 5.
assembly of the inner tent only: put the pole ends into the sockets of
the inner tent and tense the poles (b2). Starting in the centre, clip the
inner tent onto the poles (b3).
5. Now insert two tent pegs into the front porch, open out the tent and
anchor it with two further tent pegs at the back. The tent should now
stand unaided (C).
6. Insert tent pegs into all other provided points on the base.
7. Where necessary use guy ropes (D).
8. Ensure there is sufficient ventilation. The porch and air vents provided
various options for controlling this.
TakE Down – gEnEral inSTrUCTionS:
• Remove everything from the tent's interior.
• Freestanding tents can be gently shaken out to remove leaves, sand, and
other debris.
• Turn the tent over with floor facing upward and allow it to dry a bit longer.
• If it's not possible to dry the tent completely before packing it, this should
be done within 12 hours to prevent the risk of mold and mildew growth.
• As in the tent set up, never pull the poles out of the pole sleeves; rather
push them through.
• When storing a tent in its stuff sack, make sure that stakes and poles don't
press against the tent fabric and damage it.
• Before taking down your tent, close all zips and roll up the guy lines.
That way you won't have to untangle them when it comes time to set the
tent up again, and pitching is that much easier.
