The proposed tool set 1952 003 270 solves any problem relating
to the quick and easy removal of glow plugs which are stuck in their
seats, without the risk of breaking them during this operation.
This tool set features glow plugs with thread insert sizes M8, M9
and M10.
Use protective work gloves, protective footwear,
hard hat and safety goggles
When using this equipment, you must be very
careful in positioning and keeping yourself on the
glow plug's axis until it has come out completely
from its seat to prevent breaking it, which would
lead to problems to its head; it may be helpful to
use as a reference the inclination of the adjacent
glow plug (small differences: ± 5° are not
significant on the final result).
DO NOT USE WRENCHES TO REMOVE THE STUCK
GLOW PLUG SINCE TWISTING COULD BREAK THE
GLOW PLUG IN ITS SEAT.
All of the following steps must be performed with
the utmost care, precision and attention.
PROCEDURE
