Working safely with this machine is
possible only when the operating
and safety information are read
completely and the instructions con-
tained therein are strictly followed.
In addition, the general safety
instructions in the enclosed booklet must be fol-
lowed.
Wear safety goggles.
Convince yourself before using that the battery is
securely seated in the machine.
Secure the workpiece. A workpiece clamped with
clamping devices or in a vice is held more securely
than by hand.
When working, never guide a hand or fingers in
front of the saw blade.
Do not work with materials containing asbestos.
Apply the machine to the workpiece only when
switched on.
The cutting path must be free of obstacles both
above and below.
When sawing, the complete surface of the base
plate 8 should securely rest on the material. For the
working of smaller or thin workpieces, use a stable
foundation or a saw table (accessory).
When the cut is completed, switch off the machine
and then pull the saw blade out of the cut only after
it has come to a standstill (danger of kick-back).
Always switch the machine off and wait until it has
come to a standstill before placing it down.
Do not brake the saw blade to a stop by applying
side pressure after switching off.
Use only sharp, flawless saw blades. Change
cracked, bent or dull saw blades immediately.
Never allow children to use the machine.
Always remove battery before working on ma-
chine.
Battery,
Battery charger
When not storing the battery in the battery char-
ger, cover the battery contacts with the protection
cap 13. In case of short-circuiting by metallic
bridging, there is danger of fire and explosion!

For Your Safety
Do not open the battery; protect against impact,
heat and fire. Danger of explosion!
Before each use, check the machine and battery. If
damage is detected, do not use the machine.
Have repairs performed only by a qualified tech-
nician.
Never open the machine yourself.
Battery and charger are specifically designed for
use in conjunction with one another. Charging
should be performed exclusively with a Würth rap-
id charger.
The rated voltage of the battery must correspond
with the specifications on the machine.
Allow warm battery to cool before charging.
Under extreme conditions it is possible that some
battery fluid can escape; this, however, does not
indicate any defect. Should battery fluid contact
the skin, wash the affected parts of the skin imme-
diately with soap and water. Neutralise the battery
fluid with vinegar or lemon juice. Should any bat-
tery fluid get into the eye, rinse the eye for at least
10 minutes with fresh water. Consult a doctor im-
mediately!
Use the unit when the housing is damaged. The
missing protective insulation can enable interior
parts to be touched and lead to a dangerous elec-
tric shock.
Do not cover the venting slots. The battery charger
can overheat, become damaged and cause a fire.
Do not charge batteries of other manufacturers. It
is possible that such batteries are not protected
against overheating and can explode or cause a
fire.
Do not charge non-rechargable batteries. Such
batteries can explode or cause a fire.
Do not operate the battery charger on easily
inflammable surfaces or in combustible environ-
ments. The battery charger can become hot and
cause a fire.
Do not open the battery charger. Touching interior
parts can lead to a dangerous electric shock.
Use only original Würth parts and accessories.
For further notes on safety refer to enclosed sheet.
The battery charger must be operated in
dry rooms only and not in a wet environ-
ment. Wetness reduces the electrical
safety and increases the risk of an electri-
cal shock.
