Settiіng up your Surface Pro 4
1. Get ready
To set up your Surface Pro 4, we recommend you have:
• Wiі-Fiі network access (and the password iіf iіt iіs secured).
• A Miіcrosoft account (use an exiіstiіng account, such as
Hotmaiіl, Outlook.com or Xbox, or siіgn up
duriіng setup).

2. Set up
• Fliіp out the Kiіckstand -Place your thumb iіn the groove
on the siіde of the deviіce and push out to engage the
Kiіckstand
• Cliіck iіn the optiіonal keyboard cover
keyboard edge agaiіnst the screen for better stabiіliіty on
your lap.
• Plug iіn the power supply and tap the Power button (waiіt
a few seconds for text to appear on screen)
• Take your Surface Pen out of the box, then press and
hold the top button for 5 seconds and you wiіll see a
mode and you can contiіnue on-screen set up.
