Before connecting appliance to gas pipe network, check
the following:
• regulations in force are met
• gas type used is the same as set for appliance
operation
• pipes are clean.
If solid particles are contained in pipe network, it is
recommended to install a properly dimensioned filter
on gas line.
After installation, check junctions made are as tight as
specified on installation regulations in force.
Do not use gas pipe for electric appliance grounding.
This boiler is provided for methane gas or LPG as speci-
fied on product serial number. Refer to specific instruc-
tions available in the kit for gas transformation. Gas
change operations are to be performed by qualified per-
sonnel.

ELECTRIC CONNECTION

Connect the appliance to the mains power supply with
a switch featuring a distance of at least 3,5 mm (EN
60335-1, category III) between each wire.
Appliances operate by 230V/50Hz alternate current,
have 85W (Quadra ie m) and 125W (Quadra ie FF m)
electric power and comply with standard EN 60335-1.
Safe grounding connection is compulsory, in compli-
ance with regulations in force.
It is also recommended to comply with neutral phase
connection (L-N).
The earth conductor must be a couple of cm
longer than the others.
Do not use water pipes for electric appliance
grounding.
The manufacturer cannot be held for respon-
sible for any damage due to non-grounding of
system.
Use the supplied power cable for connecting up to the
mains.
Follow the wiring diagram on page 71 to connect up the
room thermostat and/or programmer.
Use an HAR H05V2V2-F, 3 x 0.75 mm
max. 7 mm type cable if the power supply cable has to
be replaced.
