2. Remove the battery compartment.
3. Insert three alkaline 'D' cell batteries (not
included) into the battery compartment. When
inserting the battery compartment back into the
pump, the side with the 2 large brass pads goes
down, touching the springs inside the pump.
4. CAUTION: Remove batteries from the pump
when they are discharged, or when the pump
will be stored for an extended time. Batteries
can leak and damage the pump electrical circuit.
