Notes:
• To prevent damage to the equipment, when using the
camera and adapter on a tripod make sure that no parts
of the tripod head or the mounting plate protrudes beyond
the front edge of the camera housing.
• When using the adapter with detachable flash units, their
AF auxiliary lights may not be activated.
FunctIons
The Leica S adapter H has interfaces on both sides, i.e.
contact strips for the relevant camera system. Its integrated
electronics use these interfaces to transmit electrical control
commands, signals and data between the housing and the
lens. This guarantees that the full range of aperture, central
shutter and autofocus functions are available on the lens. In
addition, the focal length used is displayed on the monitor
and pictures are stored in the EXIF data record.
